RAMP DAMAGE DUE TO ICE PRESSURE.
This 100' long pier is adjacent to the launching ramp. If you never believed that ice can bend as it flows, look at the photo below to see how it curls up around a pillar. It is slow progress but the stuff does bend, given enough time. Lots of the pillars have ice curled up like this.
